Another Mushroom Hunt/またきのこ狩り #53098
Today (November 3), I went for another mushroom hunt, mainly because I wanted to see if I could find some shimofuri shimeji in a secret spot. 仿¥(11/3)、ã¾ããã®ãç©ãã«è¡ãã¾ãã。主ãªçç±ã¯、ç§å¯ã®å ´æã«ã·ã¢ããªã·ã¡ã¸ããããã©ãã確èªãããã£ããã¨ã§ã。 Unfortunately, none.

I headed for the trekking course immediately. In this tree,

é ãã¦ããã®ãããã¾ãã。 On this very small fallen log,
ãã®å°ããªåæ¨ã«、 I found nikawa chawan take (Neobulgaria pura).
ãã«ã¯ãã£ã¯ã³ã¿ã±ãè¦ã¤ãã¾ãã。 On this big fallen tree,
ãã®å¤§ããªåæ¨ã«、 I found some mukitake and these small mushrooms.
ã ãã¿ã±ã¨、ãã®å°ããªãã®ããè¦ã¤ãã¾ãã。 My son says they are enokitake. You will see that wild ones are completely different from the cultured. æ¯åã«ããã°、ã¨ããã¿ã±ã§ã。æ ½å¹åã¨ã¯ã¾ã£ããç°ãªããã¨ãåããã¨æãã¾ã。
On this very large tree, ãã®ã¨ã¦ã大ããªæ¨ã«、 I found mukitake.
ã ãã¿ã±ãè¦ã¤ãã¾ãã。 It may be hard to see from the photos, but some of the mukitake are too high for me to reach.
åçã§ã¯åããã«ããããããã¾ããã、é«éãã¦å±ããªãã®ãããã¾ã。 I managed to get some of the tall ones by using a long fallen branch, but I had to give up the rest.

I found one mysterious mushroom.

Late fall.
æ©ç§ã§ã。 I also found one poisonous mushroom.
æ¯ãã®ããä¸ã¤è¦ã¤ãã¾ãã。 I picked it and put it in another plastic bag to show it to my son. He likes any mushrooms, edible or poisonous. æ¯åã«è¦ãããã、æ¡ã£ã¦、å¥ã®ã¬ã¸è¢ã«å

Then, I went to a secret spot. Surprisingly, I found hatsutake! Not one but many! 次ã«ç§å¯ã®å ´æã«è¡ãã¾ãã。é©ãããã¨ã«、ããã¿ã±ãè¦ã¤ãã¾ãã。ä¸ã¤ã§ã¯ãªã、ããããã§ã。 It's strange, because hatsutake usually occur in late summer through early fall.

Then, I went to another secret spot. There I found hiratake (oyster mushrooms)!
ããããå¥ã®ç§å¯ã®å ´æã«è¡ãã¾ãã。ãã©ã¿ã±ãè¦ã¤ãã¾ãã。 Big ones suffered from the disease called "hiratake shiro kobu byou". I don't know the English name. These small white balls contain nematodes. Small fries called kinoko bae (Mycetophilidae) bring nematodes to oyster mushrooms, and the mushrooms protect themselves by confining the nematodes in these balls.
